International Tiger Day 2013: Please help to save the tigers

The Tiger is our National Animal due to its grace, strength, agility and enormous power. As the tiger is also considered as the king of forest. Since time immemorial, the tiger has been considered as a Royal Animal. It symbolizes the power, strength, elegance, alertness, intelligence and endurance of the nati. 

International Tiger Day, also known as Global Tiger Day or World Tiger Day is an annual celebration to raise awareness for tiger conservation. It was created on 29 July 2010 at the St. Petersburg Tiger Summit in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The goal of Global Tiger Day is to promote a global system for protecting the natural habitats of tigers and to raise public awareness of, and support for, tiger conservation efforts.
